Concussion Baseline Testing for Contact Sport Athletes

All contact sport athletes at Fairview High School for the 2016-2017 school year will be required to complete 2 different concussion baseline tests.  These tests can be used in the event you have a head injury to help medical professionals make safe return to play decisions for you. One is on an iPad, the other is on a desktop computer.

This testing was completed on June 9, 2016. If you have questions, please contact Chris Honeck at (440) 356-3600.

This test is for all 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade athletes in contact sports.

The other test, ImPACT, may be completed at home.  This test is good for 2 years, therefore only 9th and 11th graders need a new baseline test. However, any 10th or 12th grade athletes that did not participate in a contact sport last year or that had a concussion last season will also need a new baseline.

Instructions can be found HERE.

If you do not have access to a computer with internet access and a hand held mouse, see the Athletic Trainer prior to your season.
