The Fairview Park City Schools Board of Education meets during the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held in the Board of Education offices located at 21620 Mastick Road and begin at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
Joslyn Dalton lives at 4600 West Point Drive Fairview Park, OH 44126. Dalton has been a resident of Fairview Park for eleven years. She and her husband Bob have two children: Abby, who is a eighth grader at Mayer Middle School and Grant, who is a fifth grader at Gilles-Sweet Elementary School. Dalton holds a Masters of Science in Health Informatics from Kent State University. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Health Information Management & Systems and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). Dalton teaches full-time at Cuyahoga Community College in the Health Information Management Technology program. Prior to joining Tri-C, she worked for 15 years in healthcare management positions. Dalton was appointed to the board in June 2012 to fill the vacancy position of Brad Lamb. Term to 2017.
Matt Hrubey has been a resident of Fairview Park since 2013, residing with his wife Alicia and son Aiden at 19981 Speidel Avenue. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Mount Union College and his Master of Public Administration from Cleveland State University, where he specialized in City Management. Hrubey currently serves as Director of Grants for the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, a nonprofit that harnesses the arts and arts education to ignite student learning, creativity, and success. Matt developed his passion and refined his grant writing and coordination skills during job stints with the City of Fairview Park, Cuyahoga County, and Grants Plus. He has volunteered with and/or led numerous community organizations including Forward Fairview Park

Committee. Hrubey was appointed to the Board of Education in August 2016. Term to 2017.
Kellie DuBay Gillis
Kellie DuBay Gillis became a Fairview Park resident in 2005, residing at 19164 Henry Rd with her husband Michael and their two children, Liam and Maura, both students at Gilles-Sweet Elementary. She graduated in 1995 from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources, focusing on environmental policy and behavior. She has a 20 year career in public sector water resources consulting, currently working for Tetra Tech, Inc. as an environmental scientist and public outreach specialist where she specializes in stakeholder communication and engagement, as well as program/policy assessment and evaluation. DuBay Gillis volunteers on the Fairview Park Summerfest committee, Forward Fairview Park (focusing on the Lorain Road business corridor), and is a member of the Gilles-Sweet PTA. She was elected to the Board in November 2015. Term to 2019.
Joe Shucofsky and Nancy, his wife of 30 years, are longtime residents of Fairview Park, residing at 21240 North Park Drive. He and Nancy have two children, both of whom are proud FHS graduates: Ryan, who graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College; and Kyle, a graduate of The Ohio State University. Shucofsky graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.A. in English and received his J.D. degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Shucofsky is an attorney in private practice maintaining an office in Fairview Park where he focuses on Civil Litigation, Family Law and Probate matters. Shucofsky has served as a court appointed GAL in Domestic Relations Court for countless children; served as a court appointed Guardian for incompetent veterans for nearly 30 years, and is a longtime volunteer attorney for the Adult Guardianship Program. Shucofsky has served on every School Board standing committee during his years of service, including the Education Foundation, Community Council, and Polaris JVS Board of Education. He is currently the Board’s City Council Liaison and also serves on the FACT, Safety and Security and Parks and Recreation Committees. Shucofsky first became a member of the Fairview Park School Board in 2005 when he was appointed to fill an unexpired term. He was subsequently elected to three consecutive four year terms in 2007, 2011, and 2015. This will be his tenth consecutive year as a member of the School Board. Term to 2019.
Mark St. John
Mark St. John lives at 22390 Parkedge Circle. St. John has been a teacher at Independence Local Schools for 20 years. St. John received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and a teacher certification for a first through eighth grade certificate from Cleveland State University. St. John is starting his seventh year on the board. He and his wife Laura have four children: Matthew, attending Tri-C; Christopher, attending Tri-C; Patrick, a recent-graduate at Fairview High School and Andrew, an eighth-grader at Mayer Middle School. Term to 2017.
