Gilles-Sweet Elementary Student Council and the Fairview Park Green Team are teaming up for the Got Sneakers Recycling program at the school. The collection runs through May 13 and collection boxes are located in Gilles-Sweet classrooms. The Got Sneakers Recycling initiative is open to anyone in the community. A collection box will be in the Gilles-Sweet main office.

The Got Sneakers Program will donate between $1-7 for sneakers in fair to excellent condition that can be reused to our PTA. Any shoes that can't be reused will be recycled.

The Fairview Park Green Team will donate a surprise treat for the classroom that collects the most shoes. Student council members will be keeping a tally of the shoes donated to their classrooms for the competition.
