District Update from Superintendent Wagner
Dear Fairview Families,
I sense that many are beginning to work out functional routines for managing home-based teaching and learning and all of the many other household demands that come with being in this unique situation. Thank you all for your efforts and ongoing communication with all of us here throughout the school district. Please know that we are constantly working to make things better (and easier) for everyone, while assuring digital security of information and safety as we use the many internet-based tools that we currently have.
If you need any help or have questions at any time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s school. Emails and voicemails are being checked regularly. Or, simply reply to this email and we will point you in the right direction.
Please take a look at our recently updated Extended School Closure Resource Page of our district web site where we have consolidated many of the resources and information we have communicated over the past week.
I would like to give a huge shout-out to our food service employees who started their day as early as 7:00am today to assure that our students had breakfasts and lunches throughout the week. They all are taking extreme precautions to assure maximum safety, beginning with temperature testing prior to entering the kitchen. Don’t forget that although meals are all picked up at Gilles-Sweet, this program is for ALL students/families who receive free/reduced lunches in grades K-12. If you would like more information reach out to Diana Hill at [email protected].
Be safe and take care of each other… More information will be provided as things continue to change. Thank you all for your tremendous support.
This, too, shall pass!
Dr. Bill Wagner, Superintendent
