That is how the vision statement of the Fairview Park City Schools begins. Developed in 2015 by a broad group of citizens of Fairview Park, including many residents, city officials, parents, students, staff, and administrators, this vision is a core part of who we are as a school system and what we need to be as a member of the Fairview Family.
Our vision statement continues with the charge that we must continuously be “…empowering each other to learn differently, care deeply, and aspire to excellence.” These words were thoroughly debated and intentionally crafted to drive the focus of our work for many years to come. Throughout this website, you will see many of the products of this work.
In July 2016, we officially rolled out the district’s Strategic Plan, outlining the goals, strategies and action steps required to make our schools and community great. Over the past several years, we have worked to make this vision a reality. Over the next several months, we will be refining the goals and action steps to renew our strategic plan. This renewal process will allow us to re-examine our core purpose and priorities for the district and its role in the community.
Throughout this website and through our work to renew our strategic plan, you will see how we strive to be “A community united”, making Fairview Park “A great place to grow!” – Dr. Bill Wagner, Superintendent
