FAIRVIEW PARK CITY SCHOOLS

Community Forum Scheduled for January 22

The Fairview Park Community is invited to attend a Community Forum on Tuesday, January 22 at 7 p.m. at Gilles-Sweet Elementary.

The Strategic Planning Steering Committee will lead a short presentation and request feedback from community stakeholders on the vision and goals of the school district.

The Fairview Park City School District’s current Strategic Plan guides all work in order to attain the District’s Mission and Vision. The District is looking ahead to developing the next Five-Year Strategic Plan for 2019-2024.

Community involvement and transparency continue to be priorities in the strategic planning process.

Once a plan is constructed by the Committee and adopted by the Board of Education, the superintendent is responsible for working collaboratively with the administration, faculty, staff, students and parents to execute the plan and establish action plans to attain the strategic goals.

The District has established a Steering Committee comprised of  representatives from various stakeholder groups including students, parents and community members. These stakeholders will be joined by District administrators including the  superintendent, faculty, staff and Board of Education members.
