- Demonstrates age-appropriate play skills (share and take turns)
- Is able to follow adult directions in a timely manner
- Manages his/her frustration and accept disappointment appropriately
- Demonstrates age-appropriate language and communication skills
- Demonstrates age-appropriate self-help skills and can follow general routines
- Separates easily from parent and adjusts to new situations

4-5 year old (PM Pre-K class) peer screenings will take place on March 29 from 9 a.m – 11 a.m. (if we have several peers we will split the peers into 2 time frames) Please plan to accompany your child to their screening.
Location: Early Education Center, 21620 Mastick Rd., Fairview Park, Ohio
Please do not bring any siblings to the screening. It is distracting to the peers and we are unable to see what we need during the screening.
If your child attends daycare at the EEC, we will bring your child down for the screening when it is time.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR:
The Parkview Early Education Center will be undergoing renovations as a part of the district facilities project that was approved by voters in November 2016. Once the upgrades are complete, Parkview families will see a fully-renovated building with completely refreshed classrooms, an upgraded secure entrance, parking lot and playground expansion, air conditioning throughout the first floor classrooms, updated electrical, plumbing, lighting, and new furniture and finishes.
This project will require us to completely vacate the building from May 23, 2019 to January 2020. We will be moving our toddler, daycare, pre-school, pre-K, DAP, and Before-and-After Care programs to St. Richard’s Church School located at 26855 Lorain Rd in North Olmsted. This location is approximately a 6-minute drive from our current location.
All services will remain the same, including programming, meals, nap time, and on-site school nurse. Building hours will remain 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
We realize this will impact you and your child’s routine. We explored several options for re-locating the program based on ratio and other state requirements for daycare centers, and St. Richard’s was determined to be the closest and best option for our program. We are pleased to be able to continue services for all age levels at this location, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility during this time.
We look forward to seeing you and your child at our role model screening.
Please fill out questions in the form linked below. Deadline to reserve your space is March 15.
