Get them while they’re HOT! The Class of 2o22 has put together an amazing new T-shirt to represent our community and school. The shirts are $25 each, and 20% of the proceeds go directly to the class of 2022. Help represent our school, community, our home proudly. Order forms can be found on the district website and should be submitted to Mr. Hicks in room 101. Fundraiser ends April 1st. Go Warriors!
Attention all Middle School and High School students. The 2019 Middle School/High School Career Fair will take place on Thursday, March 21 in the High School Gym from 7pm until 9pm. Career Night will give students the chance to be introduced to all kinds of career opportunities from here in Fairview Park to all of Northeast Ohio. Our teachers will be encouraging students in your daily classes to come and talk one on one with professionals from over 90 different careers. We will also have career representation for college bound, career technical, special education students, apprenticeship and job training opportunities. All Fairview High School Juniors, as a part of your Junior Experience, you are expected to attend and gather literature to incorporate into your presentations. Register for the Derby Dash on Saturday, April 27. Students who register will be entered to win prizes, including gift cards for donuts and Chipotle, among other things. Let’s all get out there and support our community and do something healthy! Registration forms are available in the office.
From the Counseling Office: Upcoming college visits: University of Toledo on March 22nd New College of Florida on March 26th. If you would like to attend a college visit, please stop in the Counseling Office for a pass.
Tri-C has many scholarships available. Their priority deadline for scholarships is March 29th. Please visit their website or the FHS Counseling Office for details.
SENIORS! Please complete a Senior Bio form for the yearbook. Forms were provided to you from your senior English teacher and need to be returned . Please complete these forms as soon as possible! If you do not have a form completed by the end of the month, it will not appear in the yearbook. Thank you 🙂

Today’s fun fact is: Havergal Brian’s Symphony No. 1, the ‘Gothic’, requires over 800 musicians to perform, including 82 string players.
Attention all students! From now up until March 22, the Kindness Club is hosting a food drive. Please participate in the food drive to help out our community and for the chance to win a dodgeball tournament for your grade! Some things you can bring in are pasta, pasta sauce, shampoo, deodorant, soap, cereal boxes, canned food, canned fruit, and hamburger helper. Each and every donation helps! And don’t forget to be kind!
