Fairview Park Board of Education welcomes Rob Showalter as new Treasurer

The Fairview Park Board of Education is pleased to announce Rob Showalter as the new treasurer for the Fairview Park City School District. He will begin serving the district as treasurer on April 1, 2021.  

Showalter has most recently served as the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for the Midview Local School District in Grafton, OH. Previously, he was the assistant treasurer for the Strongsville City School District, and served as an internal auditor for the Cleveland Municipal School District and the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority. 

He was recently recognized as the 2021 Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO) Regional Distinguished Service Award winner for the Northeast Region. 

Mr. Showalter brings over 13 years of experience in finance. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Bowling Green State University. 

“Rob brings a wealth of knowledge that will undoubtedly continue to move the Fairview Park Schools forward strategically and financially,” said Joslyn Dalton, President of the Board of Education. “The Board was very impressed with his background and skills in school finance, and feels that he will be a great fit for our school community.
