Welcome from the High School English Department

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! We are excited for this year to begin. Below you will find helpful resources we will use frequently throughout the year.  Please contact your student’s teacher with any questions. 

Goals and Major Work of the Department  

As a department we focus on increasing students’ reading comprehension, exposure to diverse literature, and writing fluency.  These skills are vital to student success regardless of the career or college path they decide to pursue after high school.
