Packing List 

The 2018-2019 6th grade students will be taking a field trip to the Mohican Outdoor School Resident Education Program Tuesday, October 9th through Friday, October 12, 2018.  Cost to parents is $250 per student (includes 8 meals, 3 nights, classes, and brunch on the last day.)  The initial nonrefundable deposit of $50 is due Fri, March 23rd and the remaining balance to be paid in three installments prior to field trip (please see below).

Mohican School in the Out-of-Doors, Inc. is an outdoor environmental education organization located in rural Richland County near Butler, Ohio.  Mohican School’s program enriches all phases of the elementary and middle school curriculum, meeting content standards in all areas.  The Mohican Outdoor School experience is interdisciplinary with an emphasis on hands-on, experience-centered learning.  While serving many grade levels, fifth and sixth grades make up most of the student body in the resident program.  The school operates from September through May each year.  Over 200,000 students from over 90 school districts have participated since 1961, when the school was founded.  Mohican School in the Out-of-Doors, Inc. is a private, non-profit, 501 (c)(3) corporation.  For more information please visit the Mohican Outdoor School website at www.mohicanoutdoorschool.org.

Our Butter Braid fundraiser kick off will help reduce all final Mohican payments. Please help make this a successful fundraiser!

The initial nonrefundable deposit is $50 and must be paid by Friday, March 23rd.  Payment can be made on Payforit.net and must be received by Friday, March 23, 2018.

Payment Schedule:

Nonrefundable deposit of $50 due no later than Friday, March 23rd, 2018

1st Installment of $75 due no later than Friday, April 27st, 2018

2nd Installment of $60 due no later than Friday, May 18th, 2018

3rd /final payment TBA after the fundraiser is due no later than

Friday, June 1st ,2018.

Note:  Any outstanding school fees, lunch fees, or library fines must be paid prior to the deposit deadline as well as before the field trip next school year.

Fundraising Information

Money earned from this sale will be used for the students trip to Mohican in the Fall. The more we are able to sell the more we will pay for the trip! Our goal is to raise over $5,000. We will earn 40% profit on every item we sell.

Sale Begins:                        Thursday, March 8

Turn in order date:         Thursday, March 22

Product Pickup Date:     Wednesday, April 11 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

To reach our goal we are asking each student to sell 15 items. Selling 15 items will help the cost of the trip be reduced and you will earn a Gift card to Amazon. Sell 20 items and save more on the trip cost and earn an all-day water park pass to Kalahari. Check out the attached prizes sheet for details.

  • Products are frozen and must be picked up on the pick-up date!

  • Inform customers that products will be delivered on the delivery date listed above.
