Join us for 2026 Homecoming Weekend: September 24-26

Homecoming is a time to celebrate Fairview High School, our students, alumni, and Warrior traditions. This year’s Homecoming festivities will include several special events leading up to the Homecoming football game on Friday, Sept. 25.

Students, families, alumni, and community members are invited to join us throughout the celebration. Check out the schedule below for complete details on each event.


Homecoming Weekend 2026 at a Glance:

Thursday, Sept. 24: 

  • Fairview High School Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, 6:00 PM

Friday, Sept. 25: 

  • Richard L. Segrist Natatorium Naming Ceremony at Gemini Center, 3:30 PM
  • Homecoming Parade, 5:30 PM
  • FHS Alumni Tailgate, 6:00 PM
  • Homecoming football game: Fairview vs. Berkshire, 7:00 PM

Saturday, Sept. 26:

  • Homecoming Dance (students only), 7:00 PM

Fairview High School Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony - Thursday, Sept. 24 | 6:00 p.m.

Fairview High School will celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of its 2026 Hall of Fame inductees during a special ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 24. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend the induction ceremony with no RSVP required.

The event will be held in the Frank W. Barr Auditorium at Fairview High School. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with the induction ceremony beginning at 6:00 PM.

Richard L. Segrist Natatorium Naming Ceremony - Friday, Sept. 25 | 3:30 PM

The Fairview Park City School District and the City of Fairview Park will officially name the competition pool at the Gemini Center the Richard L. Segrist Natatorium. 

Students, alumni, families, and community members are invited to join the district as we recognize Segrist and celebrate his legacy and contributions to Fairview High School during this naming ceremony. The event will take place at the Fairview Park Gemini Center, beginning at 3:30 PM.

Segrist was the legendary swimming coach from Fairview High School who led the Warriors to three conference championships and the 1964 state championship, the first in the school’s history. 

In 1975, Segrist was named Ohio Swimming Coach of the Year and was a six-time North East District Swimming Coach of the Year. He was inducted into the Ohio Swim Coaches Hall of Fame in 2001. 


Homecoming Parade - Friday, Sept. 25 | 5:30 p.m.

Kick off Friday evening with the annual Fairview High School Homecoming Parade! Find a spot along the route and cheer on creative Homecoming floats, student groups, the FHS Marching Band and Drill Team, and more as they showcase their Warrior Pride. Parade will start organizing in the parking lot beginning at 4:30 PM.

Parade Route:

  • South on W. 213th St.
  • East on Hillsdale to North Park
  • South on North Park to W. 220th St.
  • North on W. 220th St. to Hillsdale
  • East on Hillsdale to W. 213th St.
  • Return to the FHS parking lot

FHS Alumni Tailgate -  Friday, Sept. 25 | 6-7 p.m.

Fairview High School alumni are invited to reconnect with friends and classmates at the FHS Alumni Tailgate on the field at James B. Daley Stadium during Homecoming.

Enjoy a Warrior Hot Dog, chips, and soft drinks before cheering on the Warriors under the Friday night lights. Each alum may bring one guest; complimentary tickets are included for both. The event takes place rain or shine.

Homecoming Football Game - Friday September 25 | 7:00 PM

Homecoming weekend wouldn’t be complete without the annual Homecoming football game. This year, the Berkshire Badgers visit Fairview High School to take on the Warriors. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the presentation of the 2026 Homecoming Court and crowning of the 2026 Homecoming royalty, beginning at approximately 6:40 p.m.

Fans can also enjoy a halftime performance from the “Pride of Fairview” — the Fairview High School Marching Band and Drill Team.
