Spring Testing for Middle School & High School Begins Mar. 24

Dear Parents and Guardians of Fairview High School and Lewis F. Mayer Middle School Students,

As we approach the upcoming state testing period, I want to ensure you are fully informed about the dates, subjects, and other important details for the state assessments for both middle and high school students.

I encourage you to support your child by ensuring they get adequate rest before testing days and arrive on time. Also, please ensure your student’s Macbook is fully charged each night prior to a scheduled testing session. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the testing schedule or process, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Middle School Testing Schedule:

For Lewis F. Mayer Middle School, the state assessments will be administered based on grade level as follows:

  • 6th and 7th grade: English Language Arts (ELA) and Math
  • 8th grade: English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Science

High School Testing Schedule:

For Fairview High School, students enrolled in the following courses will take the state assessments as outlined below:

  • English Language Arts 10
  • Algebra I
  • Geometry
  • US History
  • US Government
  • Biology

* Please note that only high school students who are not testing will have a late start on the testing days.

Testing Dates & Times:

  • March 24: MS English Part 1, HS ELA
  • March 25: MS ELA Part 2
  • April 1: MS Science Parts 1 & 2 (8th grade only), HS Biology
  • April 15: MS Math Part 1, HS Math
  • April 16: MS Math Part 2
  • April 17: HS Social Studies

*Makeup sessions will be scheduled for students who are absent on testing dates.
