This plan is being developed in coordination with guidance from the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio Department of Health, the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, and close consideration of the feedback generated from our Reimagine School Task Force Committees, surveys, and community feedback.
All plans are subject to change based on evolving conditions, data about the status of the pandemic, and recommendations and guidance from public health authorities and the scientific community.
During the planning process for re-opening our schools, the Fairview Park City School District has relied on information and guidelines provided through state and national resources, consortium districts, informed local medical experts, and feedback gathered from parents, staff, and community members via surveys and the Reimagine Schools Community Task Force and its subcommittees. A list of these resources can be found in the Research and Resources page.
The Fairview Park City School District is monitoring the State of Ohio’s Public Health Advisory System and its County Alert Levels for guidance on when our school buildings should be open for students and staff. Click here to learn how the District plans to utilize the Alert Level protocols to determine building status.
