Meal pick-up during hybrid learning begins Monday, October 5. The last delivery day will be September 30. Meal pick-up for out-of-school time may be picked up on Mondays from 12 – 1 p.m. at Fairview High School. Students who are fully-remote may pick up meals for the week at the same time. There will no longer be delivery once hybrid mode begins.
*Currently, all students may participate in the school meal program at no charge. A grant provided by the USDA is expected to last through December 31, but may end sooner. The district will communicate this change when it occurs. Families should still fill out the Free/Reduced Meals Application otherwise their status will be full-pay once the free program has ended.
If you have any questions, please contact Diana Hill, Food Service Coordinator, at [email protected] or call (440) 356-3525 x 4120.
APPLY FOR FREE OR REDUCED-PRICE MEALS
To apply for free or reduced-price meals, please complete the Free or Reduced Application form at PaySchools.org for an instant response. The username is your student’s ID number. Fill out one form per household. Here is a video on how to apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits. If you received meal benefits last year, you must re-apply before October 1 to continue to receive free or reduced-price meals.
In-School Cafeteria Procedures
To avoid situations in which students are gathered in groups, we will adjust our typical breakfast and lunch service schedule in each of our schools.
At the high school/middle school, students will be able to sign up for a daily bagged lunch and breakfast (if desired) to pick up upon entry to school. They can then keep their lunch with them until their designated lunch time. The location of lunch will be determined by their schedule.
At Gilles-Sweet Elementary and Parkview Early Education Center, students will eat in the cafeteria and/or gym with appropriate social distancing measures in place, i.e. every other seat.
ADD FUNDS TO STUDENT LUNCH ACCOUNTS
To add funds to your student’s lunch account, log on to PayForIt.net.

We will provide our students with the Fairview Advantage, a framework for student success, by delivering exceptional services and academic programs that challenge the mind and instill the joy of learning and responsible citizenship.
