As our district mission statement states we are committed to delivering exceptional academic programs and services that challenge the mind, instill the joy of learning, and promote responsible citizenship.
As such, our goal for the 2020-2021 school year is to provide in-person instruction, within stringent health and safety guidelines, for our students as much as possible.
The Fairview Park City School District is uniquely positioned to provide equitable remote access for all students. We provide necessary hardware and software for all of our students, grades K-12. Our Family & Community Engagement Coordinator works with local Internet Service Providers to ensure that all students’ homes have internet capacity.
We will use the state and county risk guidelines and guidance from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health as a guide to which learning mode we are in any given week. Weekly on Thursdays, Governor Mike DeWine will announce the Ohio Public Health Advisory System.
Families who prefer to keep their child(ren) at home no matter the County Risk Level may enroll in the Fairview Remote Learning Option.
We will provide our students with the Fairview Advantage, a framework for student success, by delivering exceptional services and academic programs that challenge the mind and instill the joy of learning and responsible citizenship.
