The Fairview Park City Schools is in the process of developing a Master Facilities Plan and need your input! Please join us for our upcoming building tours and forums.
The comprehensive plan will include details regarding the costs and extent of renovations, demolition and construction needed throughout the district and will determine the size of a bond levy needed to implement the plan. It has been 11 years since the last major facilities initiative, the Gemini Project, which resulted in the consolidation of buildings, restructuring of grade levels, and the construction of a new Gilles-Sweet Elementary School.
On April 11th, 12th, and 13th from 7:00-8:30pm, the Fairview Park City Schools will be hosting tours of the Parkview Early Education Center, Gilles-Sweet Elementary School, Lewis F. Mayer Middle School and Fairview High School for all members of the Fairview community to see the condition, use and needs of each building. We encourage all community members to attend one or more of the building tours, not just current or past parents of Fairview students. On April 25th and 28th, the district will host identical Community Forums to allow community members to review the Master Facilities Plan options developed for the district by the Ohio School Facilities Commission and Architectural Vision Group. Attendees will be asked for feedback and preference of the various options.
