"On behalf of the faculty and staff of Gilles-Sweet Elementary School, it is our pleasure to recognize and honor Mrs. Joan Hout as our November Shining Star Staff recipient. Mrs. Hout fills the classrooms of Gilles-Sweet each day with her kind, warm, and positive spirit and interactions with students and staff. Her smile is 100% contagious and brightens up everyone’s day. She continuously strives to help ensure that each student is successful and loves school. Most recently, Mrs. Hout took the initiative to research and locate materials to help a struggling student on her own time. A very special thank you to Mrs. Joan Hout for all her hard work, day in and day out to the students, families and staff of the Gilles-Sweet Elementary School."
