On behalf of the faculty and staff of Gilles-Sweet Elementary School, it is our pleasure to recognize and honor Ms. Grace Lihani as our December Shining Star Staff recipient.

As Ms. Lihani has settled into her new role as TItle I Tutor, she has gone above and beyond for our students and staff and jumped right into and immersing herself into providing systematic instruction in phonological awareness, phonics and sight words.  She has provided and contributed to our multi-tiered system of support collaboration and taken initiative with her colleagues to provide the best support for students.  

A very special thank you to Ms. Lihani for all her hard work, kind, and caring approach she provides students and staff of Gilles-Sweet Elementary School.
